We are pleased to announce the opening of E2A's solo exhibition Idea and Reality at the Gallery of Contemporary Art and Architecture - České Budějovice House of Art on May 15. The exhibition presents the work of E2A in its purest form as reduced black and white drawings. The plan serves as a critical interface between idea and reality, a moment of transition that reveals both possibilities and constraints. While models and perspectives help visualize concepts, they remain fragments of the architectural process.

I think [plans] are architecture in the state of sleep [...] We tend not to want to disturb architectural plans, for they are so still and so quiet, abstract and awesome [...] The plan returns architecture to a state of timelessness. 

The plan condenses concepts, forms, and conditions into a coded language that projects a future not yet fully defined. It is more than a technical tool - it embodies spatial logic, a silent and timeless presence. This quality of timelessness is not merely aesthetic, but fundamental to architectural thought. Architecture goes beyond physical structure; it encompasses ideas, narratives, and imagined spaces. 

The selection of projects ranges from 2001 to 2025. The presentation of 280 black and white drawings invites contemplation and encourages visitors to engage with the narrative they unfold. Architecture is presented here as an evolving process rather than a finished object. It is an experience of architecture in its liminal state - before its realization, in quiet anticipation of what is to come.
