The clearly defined site of the Escherpark lies in the immediate vicinity of other spacious parks as well as schools, cultural institutions, and leisure facilities.  The new City Garden provides the link between development related open-space structures and neighborhood based recreational areas, bringing the neighborhood qualities to the fore.
